Park City/Las Vegas (February 22nd 2014) - Day 2
The Long Haul!
Today is the day we 'officially' set off for Park City, fist stop is to try and find the terminal 3 long stay car park. After driving around Heathrow for about 20 mins we finally found it (thanks google maps!) parking the car up and getting the luggage out it all started to kick in. Its holiday time! We got the shuttle to terminal 3, and made our way to the check in desk.
With check in done security checks done i can finally chill out and get some food down me! We went to a little pubby bar thing in the airport and of corse i had to have a full English cause i never eat the airplane food.
Our flight was delayed by about an hour and a half which wasn't too bad, although getting to the gate was a a bit of a trek! Was at least half an hour away!
Not much to say about the flight, good flying weather and in flight meal was up to standard!

Once that 10 hour flight was over and feeling crappy we had to stop off in Dallas airport to get a connecting flight to Salt Lake City, we sat down for a drink and a slight refresh before heading out on a plane again. All i can say is that Dallas airport was MASSIVE! theres a tram that will take you from the terminal to the gates that you want, which is about the same amount of time it takes to get from Lisvane Train Station to Cardiff Queen Street.
After trekking around Dallas airport we got n another plane to Salt Lake, buy this time all i wanted to do was sleep, and i cant sleep on planes even though i gave it a good go on this flight.
Not much to say about the flight all i can say is that I'm glad that I'm on the ground and can get some shut eye. But before i can do that food is needed, dominos pizza please! And i can say now that even though Dominos pizza is from America, I think that the UK pizzas are better! And there was no dipping sauce not impressed Dominos Pizza USA.
After polishing off the pizza and a few cans of Mtn Dew, bed was needed by this timei hade been up for a total of 27 hours. Awesome!
Well goodnight/good morning everyone!
