San Francisco 2012 - Day 3

Woke up this morning in a queen sized bed all to myself (need to get one for my room!) We went our for breakfast and managed get myself a so called 'American Breakfast' basically it was eggs bacon and potatos wich was pretty tasty!! The weather is overcast and rainy in the city, so should be snowing in Lake Tahoe wich is good news! We got some road provisions such as Cheetos and a 2L bottle of Mtn Dewfor the trip in the local Walgreens.

On our way up to Heavenly Mountain Resort today in Lake Tahoe its about a 4 hour drive from where we are staying in San Fran city. We cut through Napa Valley which is famous for its wine growing, which is pretty cool if you like wine... we also crossed the world famous Golden Gate Bridge!! It's big, and red.

On the way to Lake Tahoe we stopped off at Denny's for some food and a drink it two, I had some classic nachos which were awesome!!! 2 hours left till we see the snow!!

Arriving at the hotel in Lake Tahoe was pretty nippy. The room itself is big and lots of room for my baggy clothes. The skis and boots have been sorted I have a pair of Salomon skis and Dalbello boots, I've skied them before so should be good!

As prices for food and drink on the mountain are pretty pricey we piped into the local supermarket ill attach a photo of our fridge most of what is in there already we brought from home for some friends who live in Orlando who are popping up for some skiing with us.

Tomorrow I start skiing so its an early night and an early wake up! I'm just hoping for some fresh powder over night!!

Today we set off for Stowe! Location: Boston, Massachusetts  Weather: Sunny/Cloudy  Temp: -12°  We had the afternoon left in Boston yesterday which we spent most of it in bars (I'm not complaining). Since there is a 5 hour time difference sleeping was a little odd, managed to wake up at 3am and then managed to get up at 6:30am which is around 11:30am in the UK. So kind of fits my sleeping pattern right down to a tee!  I managed to get up just as the sun was rising! Hawaii 2012 (28th May) - Day 1

Off to Hawaii for my sisters wedding!! Left Cardiff around lunchtime for Heathrow in London, we stayed in the same hotel when we went to Canada! So yeah not much really happened on the first day, just beer and food mostly (not that I'm complaining!!) The temperature in the hotel room was something stupid like 27 degrees. We had air con, but it totaly sucked!! Not much to say on the first day of travelling, early night for an early wake up tomorrow morning! Hawaii 2012 (30th May) - Day 3

Off to Kauai in Hawaii today!  Well My sleep was pretty amazing, air con that actually works and a bed that didn't suck! Wonderfullll! Anyway woke up about 8 ish this morning, had a quick sunbath by the pool before going down for a feast of a breakfast! (was pretty awesome) After some filling breakfast we headed off to the airport, (for a world famous airport it really wasn't they impressive) yeah i admit the place was HUGE but inside it has nothing to do! (kinda like the Tardis but the other way round,yeah.) The flight was about 5 hours long, so wasn't as bad as the trip from Heathrow to LAX but still kinda bored! All i can say is thank god i bought mine craft on my mac, oh and my iPod (lifesaver!) Arriving at Kauai airport was weird, the place is so chilled out! The whole airport was made of wood!!! WOOD!! So yeah they was cool.  After we grabbed our bags and other rubbish we brought along with us we went to pic up our rental car, we have a Chrysler Miniva...
